What is High-Performance Cleaning (HPC)?
High-Performance Cleaning (HPC) is an evidence-based cleaning methodology designed to maximise cleaning effectiveness while minimising risks to human health and the environment. Unlike traditional cleaning, which is often judged by visual appearance alone, HPC focuses on measurable, auditable cleaning outcomes that create cleaner, healthier, and safer environments.
In early 2020, QualGroup partnered with HPC Solutions™, founded by Bridget Gardner, to introduce the High-Performance Cleaning (HPC) Methodology into its operations. Under her guidance, QualGroup implemented this healthcare-inspired cleaning framework across its commercial and residential cleaning services, helping establish a higher standard of professional cleaning in New Zealand.
Today, every QualGroup cleaning service follows the same evidence-based, hospital-grade High-Performance Cleaning (HPC) Methodology. Combined with Green Seal Certified products, TGA-approved disinfectants, UV fluorescence quality audits, and QualClean Academy training, HPC delivers consistently high-quality cleaning, improved hygiene, healthier indoor and outdoor environments, and reliable quality assurance.

- In partnership with HPC Solutions Australia, our management team has completed High-Performance Cleaning training with Bridget Gardner. They are responsible for upskilling new and existing cleaning staff.
- Cleaners are provided with detailed, visual cleaning manuals to ensure consistency across every site.
- Cleaners are allowed sufficient time to do a good job - rather than being rushed to finish quickly and move on to the next site.
- We spend extra time cleaning high touch points and areas of potential infection risk.
- We use Green Seal Certified cleaning products to ensure that we are doing right by the environment.
- The disinfectants we use are independently approved by the Therapeutic Goods Administration (TGA).
- We use UV fluorescence auditing tools to confirm that work is being done to our consistently high standards.
